Onex Corp., a Canadian investment firm, has agreed
to pay $864 million to take control of about 58% of Jeld-Wen Inc. Jeld-Wen's
headquarters will remain in Klamath Falls, Ore., and Rod Wendt will remain as
chief executive officer. Onex also will appoint a new company president, Philip
Orsino, and will control half of Jeld-Wen's board seats. Jeld-Wen, Oregon's
largest privately held company, produces windows and doors. - 8/4/2011
