Tolko Industries Ltd. has announced that operations at the company's plywood
mill near Kamloops, B.C., will decrease from four shifts to three effective
October 30. About 30 employees and 50 million square feet (3/8-inch basis) of
plywood will be affected. The cutback is in response to poor plywood markets and
the competitive log market, according to Plant Manager Brenda Roberts. - 9/29/2011
