Industries Parent has upgraded and reopened two mills that had been closed for about two years. About 90 employees returned to work at the Parent sawmill, 40 at the fingerjoint mill in Trois-Rivieres, plus about 170 forestry workers. Industries Parent was founded earlier this year when the assets of Kruger's sawmill in Parent were merged with those of Industries Perron's fingerjoint mill in Trois Rivieres. - 11/7/2011
